Comstar ISA Ltd. the leading  Satellite  Service  Provider in Pakistan today announced the Successful  Completion of Phase one Punjab IT Board (PITB) program for the Punjab Highway Police Post (PHPP) monitoring and connectivity satellite broadband network (150 posts)  on  the  recently launched PITB VSAT HUB   which was supplied installed and  integrated by Comstar Engineering and Operations team in collaboration with Infosat Communications Calgary Canada (Comstar equity partner) the technology deployed is the  iDirect Broadband Satellite  5IF Hub and  associated  remote  terminals with multiple cameras for live monitoring and associated power management system with automatic stand-by power switch over to provide un-interrupted connectivity at the PHPP thus facilitating 24/7 live video monitoring and data connectivity. The  PITB  Hub has a total capacity of more than 300 Mbps  and the number of remotes  that can be supported can grow to several thousands.
